To comply with many different kinds of installations, wired cameras are given without lens, bracket and power supply adapter, that can be ordered separately, if necessary.

NTBC2S wired camera can be used for professional Video surveillance applications. It can be connected, through A/V cable, directly to TV/monitor or can be integrated in a wireless system using Wireless Transmitters. This B/W camera is very useful for shots in low-light conditions and environments (even in the dark by using Infrared Illuminators).
The camera is complete of built-in microphone for Audio reception and it's compatible with all the range of NSH Lenses.   • BLC On/Off (Backlight compensation)
  • Auto-iris or Electronic Shutter (EE-AI). Select EE for automatic shutter control, when using fixed-iris lenses. Select AI when using auto-iris lenses.
  • AGC On/Off. Automatic Gain Control to improve performances under low-light conditions.

This camera is based on the fantastic Sony EXview HAD CCD sensor, the only one that's able to allow both high-resolution and very high sensitivity for night vision. Applications

There are several reasons to choose the NTCC7S zoom camera. Of course this camera is the right choice if zooming towards the target is required. Moreover, this camera is ideal for all the applications requiring  a state of the art fixed camera, able to provide the best image quality and the most accurate settings.
NTCC7S features the outstanding Sony Ex-View CCD, the only one of its kind which combines high resolution with powerful night vision. 520 lines ultra-high resolution and superior Digital Signal Processing makes this camera the best choice for the most demanding CCTV systems.

520 TV lines ultra-high resolution
The image from a standard colour camera is usually made by 330 vertical lines. The image delivered by NTCC7S is made by 520 vertical lines.
The high resolution of the CCD translates into images with much higher definition, greater detail and clear, sharp outlines.
Day/Night function
NTCC7S is a colour camera with Day & Night function. This enables it to film in colour when there is good light (up to 0.1 Lux), and then switch to black/white when darkness falls, continuing to film down to a minimum illumination of only 0.005 Lux.
In B/W mode, NTCC7S is also compatible for use with infrared illuminators, enabling it to film in total darkness.
The camera
These cameras feature the outstanding high resolution Sony ExView CCD, the only CCD capable of filming in extremely dim light
The camera boasts high end DSP digital electronics which guarantees an S/N ratio over 52 dB, a level of signal purity which is higher than most cameras on the market, delivering the upmost clarity of images produced by its prestigious detection system.
Zoom lens
NTCC7S camera is supplied with a built-in zoom lens. This motor zoom, featuring 3.9 to 85.8 mm. focal length, provides 22x optical zoom. In addition, the camera includes 10x digital zoom.
Zoom and focus can be controlled in 3 different ways:
Built-in keypad control - Zoom/Focus/Configuration can be controlled manually by means of 5 pushbuttons on the back of the camera.
12VDC remote control - Zoom/Focus can be controlled by applying 12VDC to LC1/LC2 terminals. 12VDC control is ideal when the application requires an external equipment to control the camera. The NCZ2S controller is suitable to move the zoom of this camera as well as a Pan Tilt Unit.
RS485 remote control - Zoom/Focus/Configuration can be controlled via twisted pair RS485 serial BUS using NCON1S keypad for speed dome cameras (PelcoD 2400 bps protocol).
The serial BUS allows a single keypad to control up to 64 cameras individually. Camera ID can be set in the configuration menu.
A few digital videorecorders like N2KS or NSH DVR cards can directly control zoom cameras via RS485 BUS. The remote control software of the DVR's allows controlling the NTCC7S zoom over an IP network (LAN) or via Internet.

Using the camera without zoom remote control
NTCC7S can be an optimal choice even in some applications that do not require zooming. For example this camera could be used by all customers that require a high-end autofocus camera even if they do not actually need to control the zoom from remote. In such applications the focal length of the lens can be set manually in order to obtain the best angle of view that will not be modified in operation. This zoom level can be set as a start-up preset, so the camera will be able to restore the original position even after power failure.
Autofocus-Autoiris
Unlike all NSH cameras with CS separate lens, NTCC7S camera has autofocus feature that automatically adjust the focus according to the zoom level and the target distance.
In the settings menu it is possible to choose between adjustable autoiris lens and electronic shutter.
Removable IR filter (ICR)
All color cameras have an IR cutfilter in front of the CCD in order to reduce the infrared light which is always present in natural  daylight. Without IR cutfilter, the colors would be unnatural, very different from those we expect.
NTCC7S cameras feature the latest ICR technology (IR Cut Removable Filter) for better image quality both in natural light and with infrared. The IR filter, indispensable during the day, automatically cuts out in darkness, ensuring greater luminosity when filming with the IR illuminator as well as true colors with day light, particularly in low light condition.
Digital Slow Shutter (DSS)
Digital Slow Shutter is a special feature that provides extraordinary low-light performance.
Using DSS, NTCC7S camera is able to integrate several frames into a single one, dramatically increasing the light level of an almost dark video. Integration level can be set from 0 to 36 frames. Please note that high integration level, will provide high low lux performance, but low refresh rate of the video.
Advanced Back Light Compensation (BLC)
Back Light Compensation improve the camera performance when filming a dark target on a bright background.
NTCC7S provides a latest generation, advanced BLC feature with selectable BLC target area (48 image blocks).
Privacy masking areas
This function is used to prevent critical areas to be filmed by the camera, normally for protecting people's privacy.
Up to 4 privacy masks can be set. The size of the masks can be automatically resized according to the zoom control.
Text on video
NTCC7S cameras can over print the name of the camera on the video, as well as the zoom level.
Mirror function
Mirror function is used to rotate the image upside down vertically or horizontally. Cameras filming backwards, generally need this option to be set to ON.
Audio
NTCC7S cameras do not come with a built-in microphone. If you require audio, you can connect an external microphone which is easily fitted between the camera and the Audio/Video connector cable.
Cabling and installation
These cameras can be directly connected to a TV or monitor using a cable. You can use the ready-to-use 20 m cable NCT1S (video+audio+power), or for longer distances coaxial cables such as NRG59S in rolls of 100 m.
The camera takes a 12 VDC power supply. To convert 220V mains power into 12 V, a min. 500 mA 220VAC/12VDC adaptor such as NAL4SS is used.
We also supply brackets for wall-mounting and protective housings. If you need to control more than one camera you can connect them to a switcher or quad splitter.
If you wish to use a video recorder, the modern digital video recorders do not require these control devices and the camera can be directly connected to the video input sockets.
If the camera is connected to an external transmitter, it can be integrated into a wireless system.
The zoom of the camera can be controlled from remote. You can do that by using 2 simple wires and a 12VDC controllers like NCZ2S. Alternatively an RS485 keypad for speed domes, like NCON1S can be used to manage up to 64 among NTCC7S and speed domes camera over a twisted pair. RS-485 zoom control can be also performed by means of N2KS DVR's and NSH DVR cards.

The camera
The camera can be connected directly to a TV or monitor using a video cable (purchasable separately) or it can be connected to a video transmitter to implement a wireless system. the camera has an DSP digital electronics that let it be an high-performance camera with an optimal quality/price ratio. The resolution is 380 lines. To better adjust to any light condition these cameras have a fast automatic diaphragm from 1/50 sec to 1/100.000 sec. The camera is available in color or B/W.
The lens
The camera is factory-set, due to its small dimensions, with an S socket for mini-lenses, factory-built with an N036SS mini-lens that gives an angle of view of 67° for B/W model and 53° for color model. The cameras are also compatible with all mini-lenses, but the N250SS model. It is possible to order the camera without the lens mounted and another lens to order apart. To evaluate the angle of view of the lens you must consider that the NBBC2S B/W camera uses a CCD 1/3" sensor, while the color NBCC4S model a CCD 1/4" sensor.

Applications

These cameras in protective aluminum housings are designed to be mounted on vehicles as rear view cameras.
Waterproof chrome housing
The camera body is just 25x32 mm and it's made of metal with bright chrome finishing. The stylish high-tech case suits perfectly any vehicle design. The hermetically-sealed shell can be mounted outdoor without further protections.
Camera and lens
In order to keep the size as small as possible, a 1/4" C-MOS color chipset is used on these cameras. Video resolution is 480 TV lines. This camera is designed to get the largest field of view at a very close distance. Therefore it comes with a 1.7 mm Fish-Eye mini lens. The lens cannot be replaced.
Mounting
NVCC1S cameras can be installed making a small 5 mm hole in the vehicle coachwork. In the back side of the camera there is a 22 mm long nut with bolt. Power and video cables get out through the nut body so that no cables is visible outside. Related to the mounting surface the camera is oriented 45° downwards. The angle cannot be adjusted.
MIRROR function
NVCC1S cameras come with MIRROR function for rear view. A meter scale appears on the video to indicate the object's distance.
Audio
For obvious reasons waterproof cameras don't have a microphone. If you need to pick up audio, you can connect an external microphone between the camera and Audio/Video cable.
Wiring
Like the other hard-wired cameras, these cameras can be directly connected to a monitor. Small size LCD's like 5" LCD and 7" LCD are perfect to be used with these cameras being ready for mounting on vehicles.
On the back of the housing there is a waterproof cable conduit which holds a cable of about 50 cm long with a mini-jack. A 5 m cable is supplied to be connected to the mini-jack. This cable has one video output (RCA male) and a DC plug (5.5 mm) on the other side.
NVCC1S can be powered using a common stabilized 500 mA 220VAC/ 12VDC adaptor like NAL4SS (not included). More frequently, 12VDC can be provided by the vehicle battery.

Automatic number plate recognition
Reading a vehicle number plate is a too difficult job for a standard CCTV camera. The main problem is the exposure caused by headlight at night, but even during the day the light reflection on the number plate can make the number recognition virtually impossible. NBCC7YS is a special camera, which has been specifically designed for ANPR systems.
Extra light compensation
To avoid exposure caused by headlights, NBCC7YS compensates the light coming from the vehicle with infrared light generated by built-in IR LED's. The camera comes with 2 CSD light sensors: one on the front, towards the vehicle, and the other on the back, sensing the effective light of the environment. When fixing the camera, please be sure the back light sensor is not covered by obstacles.
Infrared Cut-filter Removable (IRC) and Visible light Cut-filter
All NSH long-range IR cameras do include the ICR function (Infared Cut-filter Removable), a mechanical system which removes the IR cut-filter at night and enhances the camera sensitivity to the IR illumination. Besides the IRC function, NBCC7YS does much more then removing the IR cut-filter at night. This camera can replace the IR cut-filter with a visible light cut-filter, able to inhibit strong visible light from headlights to reach the CCD of the camera. During night view, this avoids exposure caused by car's headlights. The final result is a clear and precise shot of the car's plate, both with headlights switched On/Off.
High resolution camera, Infrared illuminator and Lens
NBCC7YS camera has been designed using the best CCTV components available today. Sony SuperHAD CCD, 550 TV lines extra high resolution, DSP chip with S/N ratio over 52 dB. NBCC7YS camera comes with a built-in infrared illuminator with 12 maxi LED's. The camera has a Day/Night function and is able to function in all conditions, including under complete darkness. This camera delivers colour images during the day. When the darkness comes, the illuminator goes on automatically and B/W images are delivered. The camera is supplied with a 16 mm lens. The product has been optimised for use with this lens, that cannot be changed.
ATTENTION. The NBCC7YS IR illuminator is specifically designed for number plate illumination and cannot illuminate the rest of the scene which will not be visible as shown in the sample images. For a general night view, you can install any of our standard IR cameras which do not affect the number plate reading function of the NBCC7YS camera.

Optimum viewing distance
NBCC7YS camera has been focused for number plate recognition at approximately 10 metres distance from the lens. It is recommended to install the camera in order to respect the optimal distance from the target, because this will provide the best possible performance. Anyway, number plate recognition will still be possible even at longer or shorter distances from the camera.
Vehicle's speed
NBCC7YS cameras have been designed for use with normal CCTV systems (recording 25 f/sec) and therefore cannot read number plates if the vehicles are moving at high speed. The camera must be placed closed to access gates or barriers, so that the vehicles are forced to stop or lower the speed.
Waterproof housing and Audio
The camera is inside a robust, completely waterproof aluminium case which guarantees an IP67 protection level, meaning that the camera can be exposed to rain without a dropping water inside it. Due to their use, waterproof cameras don't come with a microphone. If you need audio, you can connect an external microphone which can be easily fitted between the camera and the Audio/Video connector cable.
Wiring
The camera can be connected directly to a TV or monitor by means of an audio/video cable (Audio OUT and Video OUT). On the back of the case there is a waterproof conduit bearing a 1 m cable which contains: wiring for the 12VDC power supply (terminal board with 2 positions) and video cable (BNC female). It's possible to use an NAL5S regulated 220VAC / 12VDC power supply (not included). To connect the camera to an extra monitor or TV you will need to use RG59 coaxial cable. By connecting the camera to an external Transmitter, it can be integrated into an NSH® wireless system.

NBCC5MS - High resolution IR camera with OSD
NBCC5MS is the high-end model in the NSH IR camera range. Specifically designed to provide best performance in any condition, this camera is based on the ultra high resolution SONY SuperHAD CCD at 520 TV lines. It includes a convenient varifocal lens (4 to 9 mm.) adjustable by 2 screws (zoom -focus) placed outside the casing. In the back side of the camera a waterproof cover protects 5 pushbutton which controls a sophisticated On Screen Display (OSD). Following main features are available to be set:

Cable management
NBCC6LS, NBCC2LS, NBCC5MS, NDCC2S, NDCC5S cameras are supplied with a latest technology bracket designed to hide the connection wiring inside the bracket. Unlike traditional brackets, that leaves the wiring visible outside, these brackets with cable management protect the cables from wearing out and against tampering attempts. When mounting the camera indoor, the esthetic of the whole CCTV system is also improved. All bracket come with a 360° swivel that allows fixing on both wall or ceiling.
Audio
Waterproof cameras, due to their protection against water, don't have a built-in microphone. If you need to detect audio, you might connect an External Microphone to the camera's A/V cable.
Cabling and installation
