Marmitek LM12 Lamp Module (X-10 Modules)
Plug-in module for switching and dimming lights.
Features
Applications
The Lamp Module is a 300W receiver unit that works as a remote dimmer. The connected lamp can be switched ON/OFF and dimmed using an X-10 remote control. The lamp module can be used at any wall outlet in the house with incandescent lamps between 40W and 300W.
As the dimmer is simply inserted into wall outlets like an ordinary plug, there is no installation to be carried out. Just set the wheels on the front side to the desired device address (e.g. F9) and note this address down in a list. The lamp connected to the Lamp Module can still be controlled locally by its own switch, but do not forget to leave the local switch in the "ON" position, as otherwise the lamp can not be controlled by an X-10 controller. Switch the lamp Off by remote control.
The LM12 responds to "standard" X-10 that is: "ALL LIGHTS ON" or "ALL UNITS OFF" from any controller set to its house
code regardless of unit code or alternatively individual unit control by "ON", "OFF", "BRIGHT" and "DIM".

Marmitek LM15 screw-in lamp module (X-10 Modules)
Screw-in lamp module
Features
Placed between the lamp and the socket
Remote control On and Off
Also suitable for low-energy light bulbs.
Applications
A Bayonet or screw-in Lamp Module. You can put this Lamp Module directly into the lamp socket. Can also be used with low-energy lamps. It is not possible to dim with this Lamp Module. Its code is set up from any X10 controller and it then remembers this code, even if the power fails. You simply fix it into any light fixture, screw in a bulb, turn the power On, and then send it a code from any X10 Controller within 30 seconds. You send the same code three times. When the Socket Rocket receives the same code for the third time it turns On to let you know that it has "learned" the code. It then remembers this code indefinitely, even if the power fails. To "teach" the Socket Rocket a new code, you just remove the power, reapply it, and then send it the new code three times.

Marmitek Bidirectional PLC Interface XM10E (X-10 Modules)
Design your own OEM X10 applications!
The Two-way PLC interface XM10 has been designed for controller manufacturers to implement X10 PLC control.
Features
Couples your surveillance system with Marmitek X-10
Control the lighting and sirens with Alarm
Switch your lights on with your remote control
Compatible with eg. GE Interlogix, Aritech, Visonic and Caddx
Applications
Two-way TTL/CMOS interface for connecting the Marmitek X-10 system with your own applications or with appliances which have a X-10 interface entry (alarm systems, thermostats, touch screen controllers, etc.). Translates TTL/CMOS signals to Marmitek X-10 signals on the existing house wiring and vice versa. The document "X-10 protocol for OEM controller" defines the interface protocol that a manufacturer will need for implementing X10 control. There is a red LED lamp on the XM10 which is ON to indicate power. It will flash when X-10 signals are being received or transmitted. This module is optically isolated. The timing critical nature of communication with this device requires low level hardware programming experience. It may also require dedicated microprocessor time. It is recommended for professional programmers.

|
1.
Can I connect the XM10
directly to my PC? |
|
No, you
need to use the CM11.

|
|
2. I have a
surveillance system with an X-10 port. Can I control Marmitek Home
Automation components? |
| Yes.
You do, however, always need an XM10. This connects your alarm
system (e.g. Caddx, Ademco, Lobeco, Aritech and Visonic) to the
mains. The communication to the different Home Automation modules
takes place via the mains.

|
|
3. What
is the difference between the XM10 and the CM11 interface? |
|
The
input/output port of the CM11 is based on RS232 communication. The
XM10 contains a logics port for TTL or CMOS connections. This
means the timing and protocol settings for the XM10 are completely
determined by your own electronics or control unit. The XM10 is
meant for connections controlled by Marmitek X-10. There are
several products available, such as surveillance systems (e.g.
Caddx, Ademco, Lobeco, Aritech and Visonic) and thermostats (e.g.
RCS, Enerzone), that have an RJ11 connection and that can be
directly attached to the Marmitek XM10 module. Please carefully
check that all appliances that are to be connected, are suitable
for use with the 50Hz frequency.

|
4.
Which cable do I need to use to connect the XM10 to my alarm
system? |
|
Please
contact the person that installed your alarm system. The cables
used differ per system.

Marmitek PowerFlash SM10 Universal Sender (X-10 Modules)
Allows any device to send X10 signals!
Features
Connects to an existing alarm system and turns On the lights when alarm trips. It has 3 modes of operation:
Mode 1. POWERFLASH SM10 will turn ON all Lamp Modules set to its House Code and will also turn ON any other Modules set to its Unit Code. All Lamp Modules are left in the ON state when the trigger is de-activated but the module set to the same Unit Code will turn OFF.
Mode 2. POWERFLASH SM10 will FLASH all lights connected to Lamp Modules. All Lamp Modules will be left in the ON state when the trigger is de-activated but Appliance Modules set to the same House Code as the SM10 will turn OFF.
Mode 3. If a trigger signal is presented to the terminal of the SM10; an "ON" command is send to the pre-set address. When the trigger signal is switched off again; an "OFF" command will be sent.
Set the input switch to A for triggering the interface by a low voltage input (6-8 VAC, DC or audio), to B for
triggering the interface by a dry contact closure. Do not connect 220V to the input terminal! The Powerflash SM10 has a test button which allows you to activate it whether or not it is connected to an alarm system. The "ALL LIGHTS OFF" button allows you to turn OFF anything which has been turned ON by the interface.
To install the Powerflash: (It is expected to be installed inside the security controller panel)
Connect the alarm output of the security panel to the screw terminals
Connect the flying lead to the 230V power supply, most likely at the 230V side of the transformer.

Marmitek Transceiver module TM13 (X-10 Modules)
Takes RF commands and converts them to X-10 signals
Features
Wall module with receiver for Marmitek remote controls
Converts signals of Marmitek remote controls to X-10 signals for the mains
Built-in appliance module: Remote control On and Off for lights and appliances
Applications
The TM13 Transceiver module is the Central receiver that is necessary to make use of wireless remote controls, wireless switches and wireless sensors. The TM13 transceiver converts these wireless signals into X-10 signals on the existing house wiring to control X-10 modules. The built-in appliance module can be switched with a command from an RF controller, such as a remote control or with the X-10 protocol over the house wiring.
As the transceiver is simply inserted into wall outlets like an ordinary plug, there is no installation to be carried out. Just set the weel on the front to the desired house code. Note: the unit code of the built-in appliance switched outlet (220V, 1000W) is always Unitcode 1.
You need one TM13 per installation when you use a wireless controller. You don’t need the TM13 if there is a Marmitek wireless alarm system Console installed.
When used with the CM11 (two way universal computer interface), the TM13 acts as the "RF gateway" to get signals from any X-10 wireless transmitter and to transmit them onto the AC wiring to be received by the CM11 interface. This way, macros can be initiated by remote controls.

V572AE RF Whole House Transceiver (X-10 Modules)
Receives all 16 House Codes and offers a greater reception range.
Features
Receives all 256 house/unit code addresses
Included external antenna package for extended range
Custom house & unit code filtering via configuration program
Filtering settings are not lost during power loss
Applications
Looking for a high quality alternative to X-10’s TM13? Our V572AE RF transceiver provides a professional alternative that not only receives all 16 house codes, but also provides greater reception range and more custom control. Because the V572AE receives all 16 house codes, you can replace 16 normal TM13 transceivers with a single V572AE!
By offering this product with an external antenna and a state-of-the-art receiver, users are achieving impressive ranges with ordinary X-10 transmitters like key chain remotes, motion sensors and palm pad remotes
How it works
An internal 433MHz receiver detects incoming RF signals generated by X-10 compatible remote devices: palm pad remotes, key chain remotes, and many others. These signals are filtered by an optional user defined list of allowed house and unit codes. The enabled signals are sent to an XM10 power line interface module (available upon request), which then broadcasts the X-10 commands down the power line to receiving modules (X-10 light switch modules, lamp modules, appliance modules, etc.).
Requirements
The V572AE RF Whole House Transceiver requires a 7V-12V power supply (not included) and an XM10 power line interface that can be ordered upon request.

Marmitek Plug-in Filter FM10 (X-10 Modules)
Filter appliances for smooth operations
Features
Eliminates interference on the powerline, so X-10 signals remain strong and clear
Prevents X-10 signals from being absorbed by appliance power supplies
Applications
Most modern appliances do not generate interference that affect X-10 operation. However, occasionally you may come across an appliance that generates enough noise to affect reliable X-10 operation. Some TVs, old monitors/printers, battery chargers and a European 110V/220V electric shaver are some examples of appliances that may generate enough noise to affect reliable X-10 operation. Simply plug the appliance into this filter and then plug it back into the receptacle to remove the noise. It also completely blocks X10 signals so you can use it to isolate a group of devices on a power strip as long as the total load does not exceed 16A.
