Marmitek CM15PRO Programmable Computer Interface (X-10 Controllers)
Programmable Computer Interface + ActiveHome Pro Software.
Features
This is the Pro-version of the CM11.
More programming possibilities because of conditional macros. For instance; the simulation of presence is executed only when your alarm is activated.
More memory; possibility to use approximately 1.400 macros/timers.
Ready built X-10 RF transmitter and X-10 transceiver (like the TM13) for specific or all home codes.
User friendly software for beginners, with numerous extension possibilities for the experienced X-10 user.
Software in English.
Can be placed out of sight because of the supplied 1 metre power cord.
Applications
With extras like extended codes, conditional macros and a built in transceiver, this product offers the functionality of a computer interface and a transceiver in one. In combination with the CM15Pro you only need receivers in order to control your lighting and equipment.
With your computer you can program whatever you like. Switching ON your lights at set or varying times (intelligent presence simulation), creating a home movie theatre, switching your outside lighting or having a fresh pot of coffee ready when you are woken up by the atmospheric lighting in your bedroom.
Once everything is set according to your wishes, you can enter this into the memory of the CM15Pro and turn OFF your computer. You can also pre-set the CM15Pro for use in another house.
Scheduling events for specific times and dates is one of the most powerful features in ActiveHome Pro. Each module or Macro in your system can have multiple timers for different times of day, days of the week, and dates during the year. You can schedule events around sunrise and sunset, and even make it so that your events don't happen at the exact same times each day.

Marmitek CM11 Universal Computer Interface (X-10 Controllers)
Control X10 Home Automation with any multimedia PC
Features
Simulates your presence when you are on holiday
Control and program your system on the screen
Stand alone: PC can be switched off after programming
Calculates light and dark times for the entire year
Macro function: set preferences with one push of a button
With USB connection equipped
The CM11 is also available with a serial connection
Applications
Switch and dim modules exactly as you want: by sunrise or sunset, at programmed times or according to your own schedule. ActiveHome Software is standard, and includes switch possibilities. Easy to install and to use, no PC card necessary! Stand-alone: PC can be switched off after being installed. By pushing one button you can activate compounded actions (scenario’s, sleeping, coming home, vacation, etc.). Two-way interface: switching and reading out the status from the PC screen.
The Universal Computer Interface is programmed from a Windows based Multimedia PC to control the full range of X-10 compatible devices. Functions include timed events and
macros (groups of commands that take place with a single press of a button on a controller).
Once the interface has been programmed, the PC is no longer
needed. Two standard AAA batteries retain the built-in time clock's accuracy. The macros are held in E2 and retained
even if the power fails. You can even unplug the interface after programming it and plug it in elsewhere in the home.
Connections
The Computer Interface fits between the AC outlet and the computer's power plug. A grounded AC socket is provided on the front of the interface for the computer's power plug (3A max.). A cable with an RJ11 connection on one end and a 9-pin 'D' type connector on the other is provided to connect the Interface to the serial port of the PC.
Two-way
The Computer Interface is fully two-way, both generating and receiving X-10 powerline commands.
ActiveHome Software
User friendly Microsoft Windows compatible software is provided with the Interface which includes graphical
representations of switches, modules etc. to provide point-and-click control of modules, and easy setting of scheduled events and macros.
Scheduled Events
Events may be scheduled to occur at a particular time every day, on chosen days only, between chosen dates etc.
You can also program the interface to turn lights on at dawn and off at dusk just by choosing your location from a worldwide
list.
Macros
A command from a controller (such as a mini controller) normally operates a device directly, e.g. pressing 'A1 ON' switches on the module with code A1. The computer interface, however, can be programmed to intercept a command, and respond to it by automatically generating a whole group of commands
called a 'macro'. For example, pressing 'A1 ON' on a controller might turn on stair lights and bedroom lights, then after 20
minutes dim the bedroom lights to 50% and turn off the stair lights, and finally turn all lights off 30 minutes
later.
Now available from Marmitek: the CM11 computer interface with USB
connection! The CM11 is at the core of the X-10 installation. It comes
complete with ActiveHome software and offers countless practical
applications to enhance your comfort and the feeling of security in your
home.
|
|
USB possibility: only from Marmitek
The CM11 interface was (until now) supplied with a serial port
connection cable. The new CM11 USB developed by Marmitek is (certainly
for laptop users) a welcome addition. The complete CK17
(SmartHome) kit is now available with a standard USB
connection.

Advantages of the CM11 computer interface
With this interface, you can simply set up the required home control
actions on your PC or laptop. The CM11
saves all programmed commands whenever the computer is shut down. All the
signals are transmitted through the mains in your home to the various X-10
modules. There is no need for any extra wiring. The ActiveHome software is
supplied for free.
Some possibilities with ActiveHome (in combination with CM11)
- Switch your equipment on and off and dim the lights whenever you
want.
- Create your favourite scene for watching TV, dinner parties or an
evening relaxing on the patio. With the Marmitek X-10 remote control,
you can turn the settings on and off whenever you wish.
- Create the impression that you are at home during holidays etc. by
‘intelligently switching’ of the lights (e.g. with the built-in
random generator). The computer interface will also learn your ‘lifestyle’,
save it in the memory and then repeat it with slight variations.
- ActiveHome automatically calculates when it gets dark outside and
can activate or dim the lights accordingly.
World standard
The X-10 protocol is an international standard. This means you can always
expand the system and adjust it to suit your needs. The possibilities are
endless. Thanks to the Marmitek X-10
system – which operates through the mains (or
radio-controlled) – you don’t need to lay any extra cables. The system
is simple to use and the individual components are also very affordable.
Attractive SmartHome set
Do you want to make your home safer and more comfortable? Marmitek offers
a complete (and attractively priced) Seven
pieces set (CK17). The set comes complete with the PC
interface and USB connection, Marmitek ActiveHome software, dimmers,
switches and a multimedia remote control.

Applications
The Leopard(TM) combines the power of the Ocelot with the convenience of a touch screen. It can be programmed for stand-alone operation, or controlled by many of the popular third party Home Automation Software programs (eg. HomeSeer). The Leopard(TM) has been designed to accommodate most automation requirements. External ports are provided for RS-232 communications, RS-485 communications, X10 communications, and infrared (IR) control. These ports allow the Leopard(TM) to interface with a variety of external devices.
Controller: The Leopard(TM) controller can handle up to 2048 lines of user code. The code is stored in a non-volatile memory that will retain it’s contents even during a power loss. A battery-backed real-time clock allows the controller to execute instructions based on the time and date.
Touch Screen: The Leopard touch screen is a QVGA LCD display with 320 x 240 resolution. The backlight is a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL).
Beeper: The Leopard provides a piezo beeper that can be set to sound on button presses, or under user program control.
RS-232 Port: The Leopard(TM) provides a RS-232 port for communications with an external computer. This port is used to initially load the user program. It can also be used for communications with a third party software program. Additionally, this port can be used for communications with an ADICON modem, or for controlling external RS-232 equipment with ASCII commands.
