We offer the complete Marmitek product range for Domotica, Home Automation & Security, Video surveillance & Multimedia.

MicroModules are part of the Marmitek X-10 Home Automation program, a group of products for remote control of lighting and appliances. The system uses Marmitek X-10 signals via the mains, which makes extra wiring unnecessary.
  • Designed to be concealed in existing switches or wall sockets.
  • Transforms a standard wall socket into a Marmitek X-10 controlled socket.
  • For use with any model, colour or brand of switching material.

HAU-MIC-AWM2P

Marmitek AWM2P Micromodule (X-10 Micromodules)

Switcher for 2 addresses with built-in appliance module.

Features

  • Turn your switching system into an X-10 switching system
  • Can also transmit X-10 commands (two-way).
  • Invisible installation behind existing switches or wall outlets. Brand and model of the switch can be chosen freely so the AWM2P can be used in every interior and installation. The module is also ideal for building in light armatures and for installing in small spaces with for instance lowered ceilings.
  • To this module two switches can be connected. One controls the internal appliance module, but also controls the matching X-10 command through the power line. With the second switch ON/OFF commands can be sent for a second X-10 address.
  • This module is suitable for installing two-way switches without wiring between the switches (MicroModules pass on their status to other MicroModules).
  • The AWM2P can control Macro's/Scenario's by operating a conventional switch (with for instance Marmitek ActiveHomePro).

Applications

The AWM2P MicroModule is an extremely small Marmitek X10 Transmitter for 2 addresses with built-in appliance module. The AWM2P connects up to 2 momentary or maintained switches by wire leads. External switch 1 controls the relay and transmits ON/OFF X-10 commands for the configured address. Switch 2 only transmits an ON/OFF command for the configured address plus one. MicroModule AWM2P uses 2-way X-10 communication. Marmitek MicroModules are designed to fit in the rear of European junction boxes, behind any installed switch or outlet.

The AWM2 is replaced by the AWM2P. This new name is to attend installers (who have been using the AWM2 for a longer time, and therefore don’t need the manual anymore) on the fact that THE WIRING DIAGRAM HAS CHANGED. Also the quality has improved, where the functionality is unchanged.

HAU-MIC-AW12

Marmitek AW12 In wall appliance module (X-10 Micromodules)

Switcher for 1 address with built-in appliance module.

Applications

The AW12 Micro Module can be mounted behind any standard wall switch. It is an X10 receiver module that can be controlled by any X10 controller or remote control sending X10 signals. The internal relay can also be tripped by external latched or momentary action wall switches. The AW12 reacts to the standard X10 commands like: "ALL UNITS ON", "ALL UNITS OFF", "ALL LIGHTS OFF" from any X10 controller set to its "House Code" regardless of "Unit Code" or alternatively individual unit control by "ON", "OFF". "House Code" and "Unit Code" are programmed using any X10 compatible controller. There is an E²PROM that stores the "House Code" and "Unit Code" even during blackouts.

The unit will accept either momentary switches or a standard wall switch. If a momentary switch is used, the relay changes state each time the key is pressed, as long as the key-press lasts for less than 1.75 seconds. If a standard wall switch with latching action is used, it is assumed the keypress will last for more than 1.75 seconds. In this case the relay changes state on both the closure and release.

Switcher for 1 address with built-in dimmer module.

Features

  • Local control via the switch attached to the module or remote control using Marmitek X-10
  • Built-in dimmer, 250W
  • Two-way X-10: transmits the set dimmer level to other LWM1, LD11 and LW11 modules (set to the same HouseCode and UnitCode)

  • Responds to ON, OFF, DIM, BRIGHTER and extended X-10 (dimmer setting originates from other LWM1 modules)
  • Can respond to All Lights On and All Off (configuration)
  • Choose between 1-face momentary switch or 2-face momentary switch

Applications

The LWM1 MicroModule can be installed behind conventional wall switches or into wall outlets because of the extreme small size of the MicroModule (Minimum built-in depth 40 mm, advised 50 mm). The MicroModule is also ideal for installation into light fixtures or for use in areas with limited space such as rooms with lowered ceilings. Two different installations: 1-face momentary switch or 2-fase momentary switch.
1-face momentary switch
Spring-back switch without intermediate setting. 1 short press is ON, keeping the button pressed is DIM, second press is OFF. When connecting this type of switch, the brown and red wires are connected. The blue wire is connected to the P or L contact of the switch.
Colour coding for the 1-face momentary switch:
Connect Red and Brown: alternating ON/BRIGHTER and OFF/DIM.
Blue: "COMMON".
2-face momentary switch
Spring-back switch with intermediate setting. Both the top and bottom part of the switch can be pressed. Short press top is ON, long press top is BRIGHTER. Short press bottom is OFF, long press bottom is DIM. When connecting this type of switch, the brown wire is connected to the contact for the top part of the switch (ON/BRIGHTER) and the red wire to the contact for the bottom part of the switch (OFF/DIM). The blue wire is connected to the common P or L contact of the switch.
Colour coding for the 2-face momentary switch:
Brown: ON/BRIGHTER
Red: OFF/DIM
Blue: "COMMON"

HAU-MIC-LW12

Marmitek LW12 Micromodule (X-10 Micromodules)

Switcher for 1 address with built-in dimmer module.

Features

  • Makes your X10 System invisible
  • Dimmer (60W - 250W)
  • Remote and local control On, Off and Dim
  • Memory function for last dimmer setting Softstart and softdim

Applications

The LW12 can be controlled with X10 signals via the mains or a momentary switch connected to the LW12. The LW12 has a memory setting for the last dimmer setting and uses SoftStart and SoftDim. The LW12 is the only X10 module that doesn't uses a zero wire. This means it can replace a switch without having to use any extra wiring.

This module can be activated using a momentary switch connected to it or by using Marmitek X-10 PLC signals. It can be operated using the following Marmitek X-10 signals: ON, Off, DIM, BRIGHT and the optional Marmitek X10 commands All Lights On/All Lights Off/All Units Off if these are programmed. The unit will accept a momentary switch. The input for the switch is connected to the phase (brown wire, 230V), the output of the switch is connected to input "K" of the LW12 Micromodule. No Neutral (blue wire) has to be connected to the LW12 MicroModule, which means it can be easily used instead of a normal switch, without having to use any wires. The module is equipped with softstart, softdim and a memory setting for the last dim level.
