The NPV Series miniature Digital Video Recorders are very powerful systems of mobile Video Recording, designed on purpose to make candid cameras and for all those mobile applications of Video Surveillance, Video Control and Video Recording.
The smallest one (NPV500S) is smaller than a cigarette box, it records on SD cards using the MPEG4 compressed format (up to 16 hours continuous recording with an 16GB SD card).
The small one (NPV800S) has dimensions of 130x80x23 mm and owns a built-in 60 GB Hard Disk, to record tenths hours of Video footage (depending on power supply used).
Both Video Recorders have been developed for using with NTCN9XHS/ BHS/ CHS Wired Mini-Cameras for concealment, to which they furnish power supply, to make them completely autonomous and to be hidden everywhere.
The main applications of NPV Series miniature Digital Video Recorders are:
  • Candid cameras. Pocket-size Digital Video Recorder switched ON when needed.
  • Hidden cameras. Easy concealment in hard-to-reach sites, even without electrical power supply.
  • Sporting shots. The minimum dimensions and weight make them easily wearable and/or installable for live recording purposes during Sports performances (Car races, Bike races, Skiing, Free Flight, Deltaplaning, Paragliding, etc.)
  • Mobile recording. They can be used on mobile vehicles and cars. The TFT LCD built-in monitor allows viewing "live" images.

Power supply
NPV500S owns a powerful Lithium battery which keeps it completely autonomous. An additional power supply adapter/ battery charger is furnished to recharge batteries or direct connect the DVR to the mains power. Using the DVR in conjunction with the Wired camera for concealment and wear, the DVR battery can supply power to the camera, thus giving an autonomy of about 70 minutes to both devices.

Applications

This stylish pen is the state of the art technology for hidden cams! A super-mini C-MOS camera is placed on the top of the pen thus filming through a tiny hole placed just over the pen clip. Its wide-angle pin-hole lens is ideal for getting a clear view of the whole room in front of the pen.
Right under the clip there is a high sensitivity microphone which can hear any noise in the environment (even a whisper can be heard in a 15 sqm. room.).

The NP1S DVR is controlled by a small button placed on the top of the pen's cap. By pressing the control button you can turn the DVR ON and OFF as well as Start/Stop recording. A micro-LED on the back of the pen shows the DVR status (ON/OFF/REC). NP1S makes no use of moving parts, therefore it is not affected by shocks or vibrations.

Once recording is completed, the pen-cam can be connected to a PC using the USB port inside the pen's cap. AVI files can be uploaded to the PC and played using VLC mediaplayer (free download). Video resolution is 640x480 pixel @ 30 frames/sec. Date/Time is automatically recorded with the movie.

Applications

This 6.9 Ah battery pack has been specifically designed for portable applications. Using new generation lithium batteries this unit provides high capacity (6,9 Ah) in a very compact size (103x75x23 mm and just 290 g).

Applications

This 2,0 Ah battery pack is designed for portable applications. The battery shape and the small dimensions and weight make it very suitable for pocket applications. Besides the 12VDC output it's also available an 5VDC output suitable for Wired Mini-Camera for concealment and to be worn. The battery includes an ON/OFF switch, charge warning LEDs and a very useful lighting LED. Maximum load: 550mA @ 12VDC and 450 mA @ 5VDC.
Battery charge autonomy:
  • 12V/550 mA .. 130 min autonomy.
  • 12V/450 mA .. 420 min autonomy.
  • 12V/80 mA + 5V/450 mA .. 210 min autonomy.
