Transmitter modules do transform a wired camera in a wireless one. The Audio/Video signals from cameras are transmitted in free-air up to 300-500 metres distances. NicoShop transmitters include models with 4-channels and 8-channels, able to transmit Audio/Video signals coming from 4 and 8 wireless cameras. Different combinations may be used. Two examples of them are: high-definition wired camera connected to the transmitter, to send high-quality pictures far away; wired camera connected to an high-power transmitter, to reach the maximum transmission range of the Audio/Video signals.

The transmitter has RCA Audio/Video inputs and dip switches to select one of the four channels (1/2/3/4). The transmitter has a transmission range of 300 metres in free-air, meaning the maximum distance between transmitter and receiver antennas without any interposed obstacle.
The transmitter is usually positioned near the camera, but it can also be placed at a distance from the camera, for example using the 20 m. cable RECT1, if this means avoiding obstacles and improving signal reception.

This transmitter has been designed for portable use, thus featuring a built-in 1.8 Ah rechargeable battery which allows 2 hours operations without mains power.
RETX3B has a minijack for connecting directly the Wired Mini-Camera for concealment and wear. In this manner, the battery of the transmitter will power the camera too, making possible a completely autonomous mobile shot unit, of small size and easy concealment. When the battery start lowering its power, a vibrating mode will warn the user to recharge it using the power line.

Applications
This transmitter is similar to the previous models RETX2 and RETX3, but uses a high power transmission module (1W) which allows a greater distance between camera and receiver (around 800 m open-air). For use outdoors we recommend purchasing the directional antennas REYG1 or REYG2, which increase the transmission range.
Unlike the other models, transmitter RETX48 has 8 transmission channels rather than 4, meaning that larger systems can be created. This model eliminates the limit of 4 cameras in a wireless CCTV system, and enables up to 8 cameras to be installed on the same site without any interference.
On the front there are RCA Audio/Video inputs and the channel selector. Channels 1-4 are the same used for the 4-channel transmitters and can be received using any NicoShop receiver. Channels 5-8 require the 8-channel Receiver RERX3.

Using an high-power transmitter module (3W) it can reach big distances between camera and receiver, about 1000m in free-air, meaning the maximum distance between transmitter and receiver antennas without any interposed obstacle. It is suggested the use in free-air, being very high the refraction due to objects and obstacles. To reduce the refraction, it is suggested the use of directional antennas REYG1 or REYG2 which can triple its range.
