Applications

The MegaView70 creates an extra TV channel for e.g. your satellite receiver or DVD player and places this channel on the antenna network in your home. The connected device (e.g. your DVD player) can then be controlled using your own remote control: The infrared receiver included is placed beside your second TV and transmits all remote control commands via the coax cable to the device connected to the MegaView70.

If you have an antenna connection in more than one room, the new MegaView70 is the perfect extension to your antenna network. With the MegaView70 you can watch images of your DVD player, VCR, surveillance camera, satellite receiver or PC movie on any TV.

How does it work?

The MegaView70 creates an extra TV channel for e.g. your DVD player and places this channel on the antenna network in your home. The MegaView70 has full stereo sound, which means the sound of your DVD, satellite receiver and stereo VCR will be perfect.

Remote control

You can control the equipment (e.g. your DVD player) through walls and ceilings. You can even use your own remote control. To enable this function, the set contains an infrared receiver. Place this receiver near your second TV. The infrared receiver will transmit the commands from your remote control to the device connected to the MegaView70 via the antenna network. Because the MegaView70 uses your antenna network, the quality of image and sound remains good, even over long distances.

Extra IR receiver (38 or 56 kHz)

When you want to operate your devices in multiple rooms, you can purchase extra infrared receivers (38 kHz standard receiver). Your remote control might work with an infrared frequency that differs from the most often used standards. In this case you can order an extra IR receiver which uses a 56 kHz frequency.

Applications

If you want to operate your appliance from a number of TVs you need to have this extra infrared receiver. If you have more than one receiver with the same frequency ensure that only one of these receivers is switched on at any time (one receiver switched ‘ON’ and the other receivers switched ‘OFF’). If you fail to do this your infrared commands will not be transmitted correctly.
