Applications
The DOME housing
The refined spherical housing can be easily ceiling installed and has a glassy dome that doesn't permit to see inside it. The design il very modern and can be combined with any interior, even glamour. The feature of perfectly hiding the inside of the DOME prevents any malicious to identify any possible area not reachable by the camera. The external diameter is 132 mm, the height is 89 mm.

The camera
Inside the spherical housing is installed a RETBC4 mini-camera in B/W models and a RETCC4 in color models. Though "mini" dimensions, these mini-cameras don't use cheap CMOS technology, but high-quality CCDs (1/3" Samsung in B/W and 1/4" Sharp in color), that guarantee clear images. The 380 TV lines of resolution and a minimum sensitivity of 0,1 Lux in B/W and 1 Lux in colors, are very similar to the features of bigger cameras. NicoShop mini-cameras have an auto-shutter that's controlled between 1/50 and 1/100.000 sec to be optimally used with mini-lenses. It's like an electronic auto-iris to be optimally used in both sunlight and dark conditions.

The lens
The cameras use a mini-lens with S fastening. This type of lens guarantees an image quality very similar to that of bigger lenses (CS fastening) and an high sensitivity. The standard lens is the RE036S that's a wide-angle lens, normally used for near shots. But you can order the camera without lens, to be ordered apart. All NicoShop mini-lenses are compatible (see page Lenses) and this is important to cover from small rooms to big areas, always with the best angle aperture.

Cabling and installation
These cameras can be directly connected to TV or monitors. An 40 cm cable (Video + power supply) is supplied with the camera. The 12VDC power supply is supplied by an REAL4S power supply adapter (to be ordered separately). If you want to control different cameras you can connect them to a Switcher, to an Quad or Multiplexer. Modern Stand-alone Digital Videorecorders don't need additional devices and can be directly connected to cameras. These mini-cameras are also available in wireless version (with transmitter).

Applications
RETBC4B and RETCC4B dome cameras are made using an shock-resistant spherical case suitable to be proof against strong mechanical shocks. The DOME case makes the camera of pleasant aesthetics, in spite of its construction strength. The cameras can be ceiling-mounted, with rear or lateral cable path.
A suitable packing guarantees an IP66 protection degree and allows outdoor mounting. The base is made of die casting aluminium; the transparent dome is made of strengthened transparent polycarbonate, with protective paint.
Dimensions: 142 (Diam.) x 84 mm. Weight: 500 gr.
