PETZL MYO XP (LED flashlights)
High-powered, single LED headlamp with 3 lighting levels and boost mode.
Provides a powerful, even and adjustable white light, with long light duration. A single light source for multiple uses.
Features
Powerful, focused light beam with 3 lighting levels (maximum, optimum, economy) and a blinking mode, to adapt the light to the activity and as a function of light duration needs. Boost mode: 50 % more light than the maximum level for 20 seconds. Wide angle lens for flood beam-like proximity lighting. Battery life indicator: warns when the batteries are approximately 70 % drained and 90 % drained. Tiltable light body is easy to use. Switches are protected to help avoid accidental operation. Adjustable elastic head band, top strap included (not mounted). Water resistance for all-weather use. Lighting distance: up to 45 m (65 m in boost mode). Light duration: up to 170 h.
Applications
Myo-XP is an Headlamp with a very powerful LED. It consists of a focused LED for long-range vision and a wide-angle lens. Closing the lens diffuses the beam for proximity lighting.
The MYO XP offers a choice of 3 lighting levels:
Level 1. Maximum: maximum power. Level 2. Optimum: best balance between power and burn time. Level 3. Economy: maximum burn time. There is also a Flashing mode.
Using the switch, you choose the right amount and type of light for your needs. With the lamp OFF, press the switch:
1 click to turn the light on at the Maximum power level. One click to turn it off. 2 rapid clicks for the Optimum level. 3 rapid clicks for the Economy level. 4 rapid clicks for the Flashing mode.
The BOOST mode produces about 50 % more light than the Maximum level. Press and hold the switch down to use the BOOST mode. BOOST may be activated anytime, whether the lamp is off, fl ashing, or set to one of the 3 lighting levels. If used too frequently, this mode can quickly drain the batteries.
WARNING!!! Do not stare directly into the beam. This lamp is not recommended for children!
