Marmitek 09806 AWM2P/SAIX12 Micromodule (X-10 Micromodules)
X-10 transmitter for 2 addresses with a built-in appliance module.

Features

  • Turn your switching system into an X-10 switching system
  • Can also transmit X-10 commands (two-way).
  • Invisible installation behind existing switches or wall outlets. Brand and model of the switch can be chosen freely so the AWM2P/SAIX12 can be used in every interior and installation. The module is also ideal for building in light armatures and for installing in small spaces with for instance lowered ceilings.
  • To this module two switches can be connected. One controls the internal appliance module, but also controls the matching X-10 command through the power line. With the second switch ON/OFF commands can be sent for a second X-10 address.
  • This module is suitable for installing two-way switches without wiring between the switches (MicroModules pass on their status to other MicroModules).
  • The AWM2P/SAIX12 can control Macro's/Scenario's by operating a conventional switch (with for instance Marmitek ActiveHomePro).

Applications

The AWM2P/SAIX12 MicroModule is an extremely small Marmitek X10 Transmitter for 2 addresses with built-in appliance module. The AWM2P/SAIX12 connects up to 2 momentary or maintained switches by wire leads. External switch 1 controls the relay and transmits ON/OFF X-10 commands for the configured address. Switch 2 only transmits an ON/OFF command for the configured address plus one. MicroModule AWM2P/SAIX12 uses 2-way X-10 communication. Marmitek MicroModules are designed to fit in the rear of European junction boxes, behind any installed switch or outlet.

Marmitek 09463 AW12 In wall appliance module (X-10 Micromodules)
X-10 transmitter for 1 address with built-in appliance module.

Features

  • Makes your X-10 system invisible
  • Remote and local control On and Off
  • Transforms your existing switch into a X-10 controllable switch

Applications

The AW12 Micromodule can be mounted behind any standard wall switch. It is an X10 module that can be controlled by any X10 controller or remote control sending X10 signals. The internal relay can also be tripped by external latched or momentary action wall switches. The AW12 reacts to the standard X10 commands like: "ALL UNITS ON", "ALL UNITS OFF", "ALL LIGHTS OFF" from any X10 controller set to its "House Code" regardless of "Unit Code" or alternatively individual unit control by "ON", "OFF". "House Code" and "Unit Code" are programmed using any X10 compatible controller. There is an E2PROM that stores the "House Code" and "Unit Code" even during blackouts.

The unit will accept either momentary switches or a standard wall switch. If a momentary switch is used, the relay changes state each time the key is pressed, as long as the key-press lasts for less than 1.75 seconds. If a standard wall switch with latching action is used, it is assumed the keypress will last for more than 1.75 seconds. In this case the relay changes state on both the closure and release. The AW12 uses one-way X-10 communication.

Technical info

  • Supply voltage: 230V/50Hz
  • Supply current: < 20 mA capacitive
  • Switching power: 3600 W/230V for resistive (Ohm) load; 600 W/230V for inductive/capacitive load; 2000 W/230V for light bulbs and low voltage halogen lights with transformer.
  • Minimum load: 3W
  • Signal sensitivity: 15 mVpp min, 50mVpp max at 120 kHz
  • Input impedance: > 180 Ohm (L - N) at 120 kHz
  • Connections: Wire for a standard pressure switch or momentary switch and connecting clamps for phase, neutral and switched phase.
  • Ambient temperature: from -10°C to +40°C (operation); from -20°C to +70°C (storage)

  • Micromodule with built-in relay with two contacts for connecting a 230V motor.
  • Can be controlled remotely with every X-10 signal (also simultaneously multiple modules). Of course local operation also remains possible.
  • Invisible installation behind existing switches or wall outlets. Brand and model of the switch can be chosen freely so the SWM1P can be used in every interior and installation.
  • Equipped with a preset function; a position for rolling down shutters (for instance a day-/ventilation position) which can be pre-set.
  • Local blocking position for blocking the motor during for instance cleaning of the windows or maintenance.
  • Lowers, in combination with the CM15Pro™ computer interface, the sun blinds automatically during the day in places where the sun shines inside. This way you protect your furniture against the sunlight, keep the house cool and simulate that you are at home.
  • Quick and easy to install and to program.

Applications

This module is suited for remotely and locally operating electric sunblinds, roll down shutters, screens and, if desired, curtains. Because of its extremely small size, the module can be installed behind plaster depth switches and wall outlets (minimal depth of wall box 40 mm, recommended 50 mm). Universally applicable: total freedom of choice for brand, colour and style of switches. ATTENTION! Marmitek Micromodules always have to be mounted in a wall- or junction box.
ATTENTION! Input only suited for 230 V live potential!

Warning

ATTENTION! The SWM1P has a thermal protection which protects the module and motor against overheating. Combined with an external heat source the thermal protection can be activated at unwanted moments which makes the module temporary unresponsive. Therefore DO NOT MOUNT the SWM1P in a wall box above a radiator or another heat source or in a wall box which is exposed to direct (and intensive) sunlight.
