Hands Free LCD Colour Door Phone System

Mobile telephones and mobile internet enable us to be available 24 hours a day and this means that being left alone at home has become a luxury. Seeing who is at the door gives us the option of opening the door (or not) and provides a valuable sense of both freedom and protection. Although safety is the primary reason for buying a door phone, comfort comes in a close second. With a Marmitek door phone, you can also install an automatic opener that can be operated with the internal unit. Unnecessarily walking to the door is a thing of the past.

Hands Free LCD Colour Door Phone System

DoorGuard 350
With a monitor that is just 25 mm thick and a camera that is just 45 mm wide, the DoorGuard 350 is the slimmest in its category. The 10 cm colour LCD screen provides a perfect image of who is at the door even if it is dark as a result of the integrated invisible lighting.

How does it work?
You install the small doorbell camera onto the doorframe and connect the wires. As soon as a visitor rings your doorbell, the picture will get displayed on the home monitor. This way you see who is at the door before you open it (or pretend you’re not at home). To speak to the caller, you simply press on the speech button. If you have also installed an electric door opener, you can open the door with the help of the monitor.

Connecting an electric door opener

To open the door from the monitor you need an electric door opener with its own power supply.
The door-open-contact of the monitor is a potential-free normally-open (NO) contact. The maximum load for this contact is: DC24V/1A or AC24V/1A. You need to connect the door opener onto the L+en L-connectors of the monitor, using the supplied cable.

Connecting multiple monitors

To be able to see who is at the door from several places (max.4).
Upon that, you now have an intercom system. Extra Monitor available separately.
