Protective housings for cameras

VRE-SC3E

This housing is required for cameras installed outdoors, as it protects them from the natural wear and tear caused by the elements. Entirely in aluminum and waterproof (IP65), this housing can be installed outdoor.
This camera housing has an internal cooling fan and heater. If in direct sunlight, or in an area with a hot climate (southern Italy, coastal areas), this housing automatically cools the camera when the temperature is too high. Then if the temperature falls below zero degrees, for example in mountain areas, the internal heater ensures continuous functioning.
The fan and heater are 12VDC powered as the camera inside, and respond automatically to high or low temperatures. The heater also clears condensation and prevents the glass from misting.
The upper lid is hinged to ensure easy access to the internal components and does not need to be screwed shut. The generous internal dimensions (107x80x245mm) mean that it will take not only the camera but also other devices such as power supplies or wireless transmitters. VRE-SST2E Bracket can be ordered separately.

VRE-SCR3E

Like VRE-SC3E, but for radio cameras with rear SMA aerial connector.

VRE-SC4E

This housing is suitable for protecting cameras in indoor locations where an outdoor housing would look too bulky. Housings like VRE-SC4E are advisable for use in dusty settings, or where the camera might be knocked or damaged. The VRE-SC4E is the ideal solution for factories, warehouses, workshops, supermarkets, etc.
The internal measurements (67x60x245mm) allow it to be used with any kind of camera.
This model should be mounted on bracket VRE-SST3E, which can be ordered separately.

VRE-SCR4E

Like VRE-SC4E, but for radio cameras with rear SMA aerial connector.

 DOME housings for mini-cameras

VRE-SC5E

This housing has been specifically designed to protect mini-cams such as VRE-STBC3E/4E and VRE-STCC3E/4E from dust and knocks.
There are 3 separate parts: a base for wall-mounting, a transparent dome and an internal masking shell. The mini-cam is fitted inside the dome and positioned at the desired angle. From the outside the housing looks like an elegant glass ball, usually fitted onto the ceiling, thus making impossible to see the camera inside.
The VRE-SC5E housing is the most elegant solution for use inside high-end settings such as offices, homes or shops, and blends in with decor, lending a technological touch.
This housing is also compatible with wireless mini-cams VRE-STBH5E/6E and VRE-STCH5E/6E, as it is in plastic, which does not attenuate the radio signal, even when the transmitter aerial is positioned inside.
The external diameter is 132 mm, height 89 mm. The camera cable comes out from the base of the housing, which also has room for storing length of cable.

VRE-SC5SE

A mini version of the previous model: diameter 85 mm x height 55 mm.
This mini dome housing can be fitted onto the ceiling, and is ideal for use with ceiling panels. If it needs to be wall-mounted, we offer the VRE-SST6E bracket (see below) to purchase separately.

VRE-SC5BE

Dome housing like model VRE-SC5E, in a robust, knock-resistant version. Ideal for use in locations where the camera risks accidental or deliberate damage (acts of vandalism).
It comprises a die-cast aluminium base with a dome in reinforced polycarbonate. The cables can pass through the base or a specially designed side cable conduit.
142 (Diam.) x 84 mm. Weight 500 gr. This mini dome housing can be fitted onto the ceiling, and is ideal for use with ceiling panels. If it needs to be wall-mounted, we offer the VRE-SST6BE bracket (see below) to purchase separately.

VRE-SST1LE

This die-cast aluminium bracket can be used for wall-mounting all VSE cameras. It is 16 cm long and comprises a bar and a ball joint. It is fixed to the wall with 3 screws.
Maximum load 3 kg.
This bracket is supplied as standard with the radio cameras VRE-STB2E and VRE-STC2E, while it needs to be ordered separately with the wired cameras.

VRE-SST2E

This die-cast aluminium bracket can be used for wall-mounting the housings VRE-SC1E/SCR1E and VRE-SC3E/SCR3E. It is also suitable for some infrared illuminators. It features a very robust aluminium beam, making it ideal for outdoor use: it guarantees optimum stability even in extreme weather conditions. Fixed with 3 screws (supplied).

VRE-SST2SE

Like the above model VRE-SST2E but suitable for ceiling mounting.

VRE-SST3E

This bracket offers a solution midway between VRE-SST1E and VRE-SST2E. The tubular structure gives it a ‘light’ look similar to VRE-SST1E, and it is ideal for use with VRE-SC4E indoor housings. Bracket VRE-SST3E can also be used with indoor cameras without housings, when these needed to be fitted further than 10 cm from the wall, as with bracket VRE-SST1E. At 22 cm from the wall, with an upward elevation of 18 cm, the camera can be directed more efficiently and gain a better view of the surrounding area.
"L" shape and 360° swivel, make this bracket suitable even for fixing cameras and housing to the ceiling.

VRE-SST4E

This bracket can be used to support heavier, bulkier devices. It comprises a solid block of die-cast aluminium 458 mm long. The base which attaches to the wall measures 175(H)x145(L) mm and the surface for mounting the device measures 140(L)x175(H) mm.
When fitted to the wall using the appropriate screws, bracket VRE-SST4E can take a load of up to 50 kg, making it ideal for use with heavier devices such as outdoor motorized devices (VRE-SBR2E).

VRE-SST5E

This accessory enables bracket VRE-SST2E to be mounted on a cylindrical pole up to 14 cm in diameter, indispensable if a camera and housing or illuminators need to be mounted on a pole rather than wall-mounted.

This bracket enables the mini dome housings VRE-SC5SE to be wall-mounted if it is impossible or difficult to fit them to the ceiling, as customary.
