VIDEO SURVEILLANCE > DVR cards > Real Time

Build your own PC based DVR or add any of these Cards to your existing PC to make a fantastic Digital Video Recording system.

DVR Pro Server Cards provide Real-Time Display and Recording of every camera @ 704 x 576(PAL) Hi resolution.

(i.e. 30fps NTSC display and recording per channel/camera or 25fps display and recording per channel/camera PAL). Total system frame rate capacity, record & display:480 fps (NTSC), 400 fps (PAL).

The Cards also use the very latest H.264 Hardware Compression (Mpeg-4 part 10 intelligent video compression). This leads to exceptional video image quality and also minimises the use of Hard Disk storage.

The RT-DV4C card has 4 Camera inputs and 4 Audio inputs. A combination of 1, 2, 3 or 4 cards can be used together to give you 4, 8, 12, or 16 Camera and Audio inputs.
The RT-DV8C card has 8 Camera inputs and 8 Audio inputs. A combination of 1 or 2 cards can be used together to give you 8 or 16 Camera and Audio inputs.

The quality, reliability and features/ functions of these DVR PCI Server cards are outstanding.

RT-DV4C DVR card (Real Time)
4 Channels Video / 4 Channels Audio / 120 FPS Recording speed.

Features

  • Multi-language software and manuals
  • Record multiple camera's images at the same time, in Real-Time. EachRT-DV4C card takes up to4 Cameras and up to 4 Cards can be fitted intoPCI Slots of a PC. This gives a maximum of 16 Cameras.
  • Display from 1 to 16 cameras at the same time with several other display options.
  • You can adjust frame rate recording and image quality settings to maximise the balance between the number of images recorded per camera per second and the definition of the picture to maximise recording times.
  • Each individual camera can be set to record Continuously, byTime and Date or by Motion Detection. Motion Detection Recording is extremely useful as it only records when the system detects motion within the camera's view. Certain parts of the picture can be blanked off from the motion detection software, so for instance if you have a tree in the picture, which would create false alarms, this motion is ignored by the system. The motion detection also has adjustments for sensitivity and number of image changes, these allow very accurate settings of the motion detection to eliminate false alarms/recordings.
  • The system uses Triplex Mode of operation. It continues to record while recording are being played back; you can also monitor live images while playing back recordings.
  • You can Search Recordings by time date or event, you can play any 4 cameras back at the same time, or individual cameras if you wish. You can pause playback, take aSnapshot, print the snapshot, copy snapshot  to mobile storage. You can take a Clip of the Video and save it or copy to CD/DVD or back to another hard drive. The software comes with a Client which can be loaded onto any computer to play back your CD/DVD recordings.
  • Each camera is Stamped with Date and Time. Each camera can be adjusted for brightness, contrast, colour saturation and hue. This can even be adjusted on playback images as well as live images.
  • Each card allows the input of 4 Audio Devices for real-time audio recording.
  • The system has fantastic networking, remote viewing and alarm reporting capabilities. Computers fitted with DVR cards can be networked (LAN orWAN). This means that your DVR machine maybe in a secure place not easily accessible for day to day use, however via a standard network cable it can be linked into your computer network, therefore allowing you to view pictures, adjust settings and even playback or download recordings on any computer on your network. These features can even be used overWAN/Internet. You do not need to know about networking because the Server software makes the communication between computers simple. The connection of more than 1 DVR is also very useful, say you have a very large building and you want 4 cameras in one area and 8 cameras in another, normally you would have to run a cable from each camera back to one central point; what you can do is put 4 cameras on one DVR and 8 on the other one; link these into the network and then view all 12 cameras on either machine or any computer of the network. This also works for WAN installations. You can select via the My Channels option which cameras to monitor from which site at which time.
  • The system supports most protocols for PTZ andSpeed Dome Cameras. The softwre allows you to contol multiple full function cameras from either the DVR machine itself or any computer on itsLAN/WAN network.
  • The system also has an hardware/software Watchdog. If the DVR computer should crash or lock up or even have a mains power failure the machine will automatically restart and run all programs as normal even reconnecting to the network.
  • The system has an e-Map function which can be very useful when dealing with large installations and large networks. You can upload diagrams of your premises and mark your cameras on these diagrams. By clicking on any camera of any diagram will automatically display this camera.
  • The system can report Alarm Activations by several methods.
    • The system will report an alarm activation to a preset Email address, by attaching snapshots of the alarm event.
    • The system can dial a Telephone to report an alarm event.
    • The system can contact any computer on its LAN/WAN network and send audible alert and video of the alarm event.

Applications

Full hardware real time compression technique
RT-DV4C is using TI's (Texas Instruments) latest low power consumption and high performance Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology IC. Adopting the most advancedH.264 (MPEG-4 part 10) Intelligent Video Compression Technology, which is developed and designed aiming on the professional surveillance and monitor recording. This supportsHigh resolution full color recording withImage Compression and Separation of Front and Back Image - a technique that separates moving objects from the static background. Combined withRecording only when movement is detected, it substantially increases video image transfer quality and extends the recording time for a given Hard Drive capacity.
System Stability
RT-DV4C is developed for Windows 2000/XP/Vista, with its own stable system structure. The Watchdog function automatically restores operation if the computer crashes, by automatically restarting the computer and the surveillance program. This stable structure with the clever anti-crush design is to give you the safest protection.
Real-time Informations
RT-DV4C can record up to 16 Videos and 16 Audios simultaneously. No need to install extra audio recording cards.
Supports most PTZ and I/O facilities
You can directly control PTZ Speed Dome Cameras to go up, down, right, left, turn focus, iris control and zoom in/out. You can alsoPreset Point, Cruise and Auto Pan functions.
