Applications

A control console is used to control the movements and lens of high speed dome cameras. Control console NCON1S can be used with all VSE high speed dome cameras in the N22xxS, N27xxS range and NTCC7S.
With one control console it's possible to control up to 64 different cameras, and up to 32 cameras can be installed on one twisted pair cable.
The control console has a precision Joystick for movement control and buttons for controlling zoom, focus and lens iris functions.
The keyboard can be used to set the preset positions and all automatic movements of speed dome cameras. The MENU button enables you the software internal parameters of each individual camera.
The control console connects to the cameras by means of a twisted pair cable (RS485 serial line), and takes a 9VDC power supply using the adaptor included. The transmission protocol is the PelcoD, widely used in the CCTV industry.
A wide back-lit display provides clear information on the operations being performed.

Applications

This low-cost controller, designed to control all VSE high speed dome cameras in the N22xxS, N27xxS range and NTCC7S, has few limitations and it can't control a few advanced functions (no control of Auto-flip, Tour, Cruise), all of them not required by most applications. Except for these few functions, the NCON2S can operate all controls usually required by speed dome cameras, including the access to the camera programming menu.
Like the NCON1S, this low-cost version connects to cameras by a single twisted pair (RS485) and uses PelcoD communication protocol. 12VDC power (adaptor NAL4SS to be purchased separately).

Applications

Using the very powerful Extra Professional andReal Time capture cards it is possible to record live-video images and also control the Speed Dome Cameras with a simple mouse click. To connect the PC to the Dome Cameras it is necessary to operate a conversion, because the PC serial port is an RS232, while the standard used for Speed Dome Cameras is RS485.
The RS232/RS485 adapter must be inserted into the COM port (RS232) of the PC; the adapter features a built-in terminal strip for the twisted pair cable, used to connect in cascade all the Cameras.

Applications

To control speed dome cameras through a PC which doesn't have RS232 serial ports, like most laptops don't, you can use this converter which converts an USB2 port into an RS232 serial port. To be connected to the N232485S converter.
