STCN9XHE Wired camera can be easily hidden in a very small space and can be weared under the suit, without being noted from other people. Superior quality of the images, light weight and very small dimensions make this product the ideal choice to produce real-time, professional quality, candid-camera.

Camera

The camera mounts a professional, high-resolution (450 TVL) SONY SuperHad color CCD sensor . In spite of the small dimensions of the pin-hole lens, the camera can be used even if in a low-light environment, thanks to its high-quality electronic shutter and its high S/N ratio (60dB).

Pin-hole lens

The camera lens is a PIN-HOLE of 4.3 mm focal, able to provide a very good wide-angle vision through a hole of 1 mm diameter. Each one of the following accessories can be screwed on the lens, in order to camouflage it:

• Coat buttons
• Coat sleeve buttons
• Shirt buttons
• Philips screws
• Allen screws

Inside the package you'll find different sets of the same accessories (e.g. to replace all the buttons of a coat) in order to use one of them to camouflage the camera lens. You could also install the camera without using its accessories, but simply hiding the lens behind any panel with a very small aperture of 1mm diameter.

Power supply

One of the most interesting features of STCN9XHE camera is the possibility to use three different types of power supply, between 5 and 12VDC.
First opportunity: 220VAC/12VDC Power supply adapter (not included).
Second opportunity: 9V alkaline battery which allows many hours of operations and it's the ideal choice for all the Mobile Video surveillance applications (the small housing for the 9V alkaline battery, with external ON/OFF switch, is included in the package).
Third opportunity: power supply coming directly from the internal battery of the Pocket DVR.

SPV500E Pocket-size Video Recorder

The STCN9XHE camera and the SPV500E Video Recorder make a stand-alone Video Recording/ Playing system so small to be hidden inside a cigarettes packet. The mini-jack plug of the camera can be inserted directly into the SPV500E, thus giving power supply to the camera thanks to the internal battery of the Pocket DVR.

Applications

The Mini-camera NTCN9SHS is similar to the modelNTCN9XHS but comes with a SNAKE type pin-hole lens.
The CCD and the lens are separated and connected to the camera board by a flexible cable. The lens unit is very small (12x12x19 mm only) and can be easily mounted in tiny places.
The unit includes a high sensitivity microphone.
Unlike the previous models, the NTCN9SHS lens focus can be adjusted, if required, to very short distance. This makes the camera ideal for filming very closed objects, like in text analysis or medical pplications.

Applications

This hidden camera is ideal for outdoor installations. The mini-camera is hidden inside an halogen lamp for outdoor lighting which can be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted thanks to the built-in adjustable bracket. The 220V halogen lamp, perfectly working, can be used to lighten the surveillance area, or can be left switched OFF, to be used simply as an hidden camera.
The mini-camera inside the lamp is an NTCN9XHS, made by an high-resolution SONY SuperHAD CCD sensor, with frontal shot. The 4.3 mm pin-hole lens supplies a wide angle view and it's absolutely invisible from the outside, even at a close inspection. The mini-camera is supplied with an high-sensitivity Audio microphone.

Applications

The camera is hidden inside a smoke sensor (not functioning) to be installed at ceiling. Inside it, instead of the sensor, it's installed a color camera (type NTCC3S) or a B/W one (type NTBC3S) totallly invisible from outside.
The camera has also a microphone to get the audio inside the room and uses a pin-hole lens (type N036PSC) for wide-angle shots. The camera can be oriented 360 degrees, simply by rotating the central area of the sensor, even if installed, to better shoot the area of specific interest. The shot has a diagonal direction from one of the loopholes to downward, so we suggest to install the sensor at a ceiling corner.

The camera is hidden inside a PIR motion sensor (not functioning) wall-installable using the adjustable bracket provided. Inside it, instead of the sensor, it's installed a color camera (type NTCC3S) or a B/W one (type NTBC3S) totally invisible from outside, that shoots frontally.
The camera has also a microphone to get the audio inside the room and uses a pin-hole lens (type N036PSC) for wide-angle shots. The camera can be esaily oriented, thanks to the adjustable bracket, to better shoot the area of specific interest.

The camera only needs a 12VDC power supply, given by the included NAL4SS power supply, to be installed into an electrical shunt box or even inside the same sensor. The camera mounts a mini-lens, ideal for operations under low light conditions. The shots are taken sideways by looking down; the sensor cap can be rotated by 360° to better position the camera, even if the sensor it's already installed. The camera shoots sideways, from top to bottom, and it's complete of Audio microphone for in-room listening. It is suggested to install it at ceiling, in a corner of the room. The transmission range to a Receiver is about 300 metres in free air. It's also available the LR version, with RF signal optimization, that allows a wider range of 500 metres in free air.

The camera is hidden inside a 12VDC power supply adapter, fully operational. Complete of transmitter, microphone and power supply, it's totally invisible from the outside. The camera mounts a pin-hole lens that "sees" through one of the small loopholes on the plastic side of the power supply adapter. When the power cord is connected to the mains through a multple socket not included (in order to be easily positioned in the preferred direction of shot), the camera starts functioning by sending Audio/Video signals to a Receiver. The transmission range is about 300 metres in free air.
